We are also pleased to announce that the completion
of our new apartment building is on schedule for December 2005.
Hilltop at Caribbean Club Bonaire consists of 6 apartments,
2 studio, 2 one-bedroom apartments and 2 two-bedroom apartments.
These are designed to be available as one large family villa. Each
unit has kitchen facilities and the first floor apartments have
a stunning ocean view. Private gardens and a short pathway to the
facilities of Caribbean Club make Hilltop a great place for family
gatherings, weddings, anniversaries or honeymoons. Package prices
for these new units will be available by June 30th 2005.
April 2005
Caribbean Club has a new management team, as of April
2005 Steve Jevon has taken over as General Manager. After 20 years
in the hospitality business and 9 of those years on Bonaire, Steve
will bring his own style of operation to the Club.
He is joined by Jeffrey Kempff as restaurant and bar
manager. Jeffrey is an experienced and excellent chef who is already
creating a reputation for great food at reasonable prices.
There are plans for developing and extending the services of Caribbean
Club to our guests. Check back for more news.

April 2004:
The resort was reopened in April 2003 after extensive refurbishment.
From its inception it was decided that the resort would follow an
environmentally friendly attitude. One of the first decisions that
were made was to help develop ‘Eco Tourism’ on the Island of Bonaire.
The resort is an ideal location to do this on the perimeter of the
marine park and just a short walk from one of the most beautiful
dive sites on the Island.
Just five months after the resort was opened we introduced “Bonaire
Nature & Dive” Our own Eco Dive shop right on the resort! This means
all your diving requirements can be serviced right on your doorstep,
Air, Nitrox, anything you may need!
If you are interested in other eco activities like riding, hiking,
caving or if you just want information from our own environmentalist
Kalli deMeyer. Our Nature & Dive Shop has it all!
By the way, if you have any questions about environmental issues
on the Island you can contact Kalli at
www.coralresourcemanagement.org.

March 2003
After extensive refurbishment the club was opened to the public
once again on February the 15th. It was a great night with both
old and new faces. Everyone had a story to tell.
The old timers reminisced about the past and the new faces were
full of excitement about this new facility with such old roots.
In fact, on that night we took five reservations, and for the next
week the phone did not stop ringing with well wishers and future
bookings. The atmosphere was great. It was a first for me, so I
was very happy to see the response.
The Club has its own ambiance that is quite unique. I was constantly
being told how nice it was. I certainly did not have to work hard
to make people enjoy themselves. The official opening will be on
April the 15th and will coincide with Earth day. Many activities
are being planned including treasure hunts, dive surveys and bird
counts. We choose Earth day as our theme to highlight some of the
environmental problems the Island is facing. We will be working
closely with environmental groups on the Island and overseas.
More news will follow soon but if you missed the February date,
here is your chance to catch it again. Just go to our reservations
page. If you have any questions please do not hesitate to contact
one of our management team.
See you there!
